St. Marys won at home on Saturday by a 4-1 count. Steve Batten started the locals off on the right foot in Sunday's game when he picked up a loose puck in the St. Marys one and lifted a high shot into the net on an unassisted effort midway through the first period. St. Marys got that one hack quickly as they evened the count only 17 seconds later. With just over a minute remaining in the second period. During the month of January, the Volleyvan program, backed by Win- tario, Gatorgum, and Adidas, contacted almost 50 schools and gave volleyball presentations to nearly six thousand people. Throughout February, Volleyvan will reach an estimated sixty schools and six thousand people.
