celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday at the
Dashwood Community Centre. They were married June 18,
1931 and moved to Exeter in 1970 after Mr. Hookey retired
after 30 years with Polysar in Sarnia. Their children are
Ronald Jr., Trenton; Mrs. Allan (Joan) Gravelle; Robert,
Mississauga; Mrs. Stan (Gale) Pemberton, Strathroy; Ivan
Corunna; Gerg, Sarnia and Mark, Exeter. They also have 18
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. T -A photo

3 Parkhill celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an
Open House at their home, Sunday. The couple was married
September 19, 1931 at the Grand Bend United Church manse
and have lived most of their married life in theCorbett area.
They have two sons, Kenneth, RR 3 Parkhill and Gerald,
Strathroy and a daughter Mrs. Carol Charlton, Toronto, eight

FORTHCOMING MARRIAGE — Mrs. Leona Glavin, RR 2
Lucan, is pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of
her daughter Donna Marie to Daniel Norman Masfrankc, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Masfranke, RR 4, Thedford. The
wedding will take place on Saturday, October 17, 1981, at 3
o'clock at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
ENGAGED — Mr. and Mrs. fan Davis, of Grand Bend, are
pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their
daughter, Leslie Jean, to Mr. Peter Douglas Kincaid, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Kincaid, of Hensall. The wedding will
take place at Grand Bend United Church, Grand Bend, Satur-
day, October 3, 1981.
MR. AND MRS. JOHN SCHWARTZENTRUBER
Sarah Dorothy Pimperton, daughter of Mr. John Pimperton,
Denfield, and Mrs. Joseph Gallant London exchanged
marriage vows with John James Schwartzentruber, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Orlen Schwartzentruber, Zurich. Nancy Wilde,
Grand Bend, represented her sister as maid of honor and
bridesmaids were Grace Wilds, Huron Park, Lynn Snell, Cen-
tralia and flowergirl was Bobby Lynn Snell, Huron Park.
Brother-in-law Robert Snell of Huron Park represented John as
his bestman. Guests were ushered by Rich Smith, Zurich, and
Rich Gallant, London. The marriage was at the Exeter United
Church on August 29 with Rev. Grant Mills and Rev. Hubert
Schwartzentruber of Toronto officiating. After a short honey-
moon the couple are residing in Exeter.
