Wednesday night at the Huron Park arena, the Sherwoods dled the score 10-5 on the Ce lia.:College Saints and Th day back in oHensall-they bounced back with two late third period goals to gain a 7-7 tie with Kettle Point. Brian Campbell scored the tying goal against Kettle Point with only 23 seconds left in the third period on a combination with Bill Chipchase and Fred Camp- bell. , Only 49 seconds earlier Steve Knight, put the puck into the Kettle Point net on passes from Bill Chipchase and Brian Campbell to put his club in the position to get the equalizer. Hensall took a 3-1 lead after the first period of play on successful shots by Al Taylor, Steve Knight and Rick Ingram. Brian Camp- bell and.Gary Kyle provided passes for two of the scores and a single assist went to Bill Chipchase. In the middle frame Kettle Point outscored Hensall three goal to two and cut the honite team margin to a single goal. Steve Knight was the first marksman, on a three-way effort - with Bill Chipchase and Bryan Baker while Larry Bourne converted a pass from captain Gary (tyle. In the third period, Kettle Point scored three straight goals to take a two goal edge on the scoreboard and set the stage for the two final quick Sherwood scores good for the tie. Juveniles .tie third in aw Hensall Juveniles *fed r-77 to a 2-2 tie Sunday hhight against the Milverton Juveniles. It was the' third tie in as many games. Hensall is now in a tie for first place with the Kurtzville team. Milverton opened the scoring three minute into the game. They then scored sw again early in the second Iperiod. to make it 2-0. Allan :is Bell scored at a:23 of the second period with Vaui Bell assisting. Early in the third period v Allan Bell scored again with assists by Brian Baker and Paul Shanks to tie the game, t"r at 2-2. Game time is 8 Monday, the Sherwoods travel to Goderich. p.m., Hensall Legion plans Christmas season .events Hensall branch 468 of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary to th'e Legion have planned several events for ttie Christmas season. There will be public skating for all age groups from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on December 9 and 16, spon- sored by the Legion and Auxiliary. December 3 members of the legion and the Ladies • Auxiliary are planning to visit the patients at the Queensway Nursing Home to entertain them with a Christmas party. The Christmas party for members' children will be held in the Legion -Hall, Hensall at 2 p.m. December 10. Church service Rev.
