One long and lonely year has
passed
Since our great sorrow fell
The shock that we received that -
d
No one can ever tell
God give us strength to meet it
,And courage to bear the blow
But what it meant to lose you
No one will ever know
It's a lonely life without you
And sad has been the way
For life at home is not the same
Since you were called away
It was a sudden ending
Too sudden to forget -
You bade no one a last farewell
You said goodbye to none
A dear'heart had ceased to beat
And suddenly you were gone.
