SUMMERS • GRANTON • There was a good turn out on Saturday for the Remembrance Day service at the War Memorial which started with a parade of the Granton Cubs, their leader and ,assistants led by the Lucan begion. Readings were also.. given by Mrs. James Hodgins, Mrs. "Percy Hodgins and Mrs. Laverne Morely. Mrs. C. Lewis brought the program to a close ;with prayer and lunch was served by Mrs. A. R. McRobert presided and opened the meeting and read the scripture from Timothy 11,, 3-14, com- menting on the passage and offered prayer. Mrs. Garnet Baker con- vened the program with the theme "How we silence the Bible". Poems were read by Mrs. Wm Jones.
