CENTRALIA
The service of Remem-
brance in the United•Church
Sunday morning was one to
remember in both message
and song.
"God is with us" was the
subject chosen by Mr. Paul
Schott for his sermon and'he
based his thoughts on the
words of th Psalmist. Other
Biblical quotations were used
in making reference to
Remembrance Day.
He pointed out that many
lives had been lost in wars
down through the ages, this

You probably think you do They're mostly the things that
turn you off. right'? Well. see how right you are. Check the
habits below you think will turn people off.
n1. Filling up a hot tub instead of taking a shower.
n 2..Turning on the floodlights to light up the house
• all night.
n3.Turning up the thermostaf, then opening a window.
Ei4. Leaving the TV on in one room while you eat dinner
in another.
5.Cooking on an element too big for the pot.
E6. Brightening up the house at dusk .by turning on
alt the lights.
n7. Turning the washing machine (In to launder just a
couple of things.
8. Filling the kettle up to make a single cup.
If you checked them all. 1 to 8. you're right. Because
waste of electricity. like anything everybody,' really needs..
is a bad habit. .
That makes all the habits above turn-offs. 1Vhich is ,t'
good reason for all of us to avoid them.
