REC`T'CLING BEGINS -- Staff from Thames Valley Recycling
of London were in Exeter Thursday to begin the pickup of
glass and paper. Putting one of the first loads into the truck
are Art Nichols and Earnie Kovack. A spokesman for the firm
expected between eight and ten tons of paper and glass

the November Meeting of
the United Church Women
Monday evening. Mrs. Glen
Stewart chose as the theme
for the- meeting Shyness is
no laughing matter.
• Mrs. Stettiart, Mrs- Ross
Hodgert. and Mrs. Berry E.
Miller gave the worship ser-
vice All sang Lord for all
mankind we pray
Mrs. ,David Passmore
received the offering and
Mrs. Stewart gave the offer-
tory prayer.
Mrs. Passmore took as
her topic "Shy". It could be
a gift. A question and
answer period then took
place.
Rev. J. Forsythe of Ex-
eter and Mr. Ross
Hargreaves gave a talk
about Kerygma.
Mrs. Rohde opened the
business with a poem "Let
us remember". The usual
business was taken care of.
It was decided to give $10 to
the How ital Auxiliary tag
day. TO- Co-op banquet was
discussed.
The Secret Pal gift is to be
brought in at the December
meeting.
Mrs. John Pym.and Mrs.
Murray offered to decorate
the auditorium of the church
for Christmas. It was decid-
ed to send $25 to Alma
College and $20 to Alcohol
and Drugs.
It was mentioned that
members are invited to Cen-
tralia Thursday everting,
November 9.
