The Jets edged the Stratford Perths 4-2 on Ilderton ice Wed- nesday to take the best -of -seven finals four games to one. Moving quickly to Allan Cup competition, the Jets while losing twice to the defending champion Barrie Flyers have turned in excellent efforts. In Barrie Saturday night, the home team Flyers were forced to score three goals in the third period to edge the Jets 3-2. Back in Ilderton Sunday night, Barrie was victorious, but again the game was closely played and the Flyers emerged victors by the same 3-2 score. The third game was played in Ilderton last night, Wednesday with the fourth scheduled for Barrie Friday night at 8.30 p.m. if a fifth game is necessary it will Exeter team in Ausable The Exeter Centennial Soccer Club will enter a senior team in the Ausable League rather than the London & District Soccer Association this year. Paul Regan started the Flyer counting while the Jets were a man short and Grant Moore registered on a scramble around the L-1 net. The second period was almost history before each team picked up their final marker of the game. Paul Regan, who was the Senior "A" league's leading scorer hit at 16.19 and only a minute later, Pete Loveless banged his own rebound into the net. Jack Nairn assisted. Fifield, the Continental's top scorer moved in on the Barrie net on a two -on -one situation and faked a pass to Doug Galloway and beat goalie Grant Cole. The second period was less than a minute old when Fifield registered again.
