inflated in price" was an in-
teresting roll call for Cromarty
Ladies' Aid when they met at the
home of Mrs. Robert Laing on
Tuesday night with Mrs. Laing
presiding.
It was reported that baking
soda and rnany appliances had
not increased and that farm
products have decreased.
The meeting opened with,a
poem. The Life You've Lived o -
day. Mrs. Charles Douglas read
the meditation. (ethsemtt ie -
Can We Forget'. and the scrip-
ture from Mark,14.
During the husiness a com-
mittee was appointed to plan the
annual strawberry, supper to be
held in June. It was reported that
the panelling had been chosen far
the basement of the church. ,and
a painting bee will be held
following its installations
Mrs. Eldon Allen gave two
readings. "March - Who Needs
It?" and "In the Land of the
North." -a pamphlet by Rev
Malcolm Muth, describing his
life in a Northern Saskatchewan
Mission field. Rev. Muth has oc-
casionally preached in Crntn.rty

received word last week that
their uncle, William Ladbrook
had passed away at Fort Fran-
ces.
There were 14 people attended
the Fellowship. Group meeting
Sunday evening at the church.
On Sunday morning during the
church service an Induction
service for the new elders was
held. Glenn Jeffery presented the
new. elders to the congregation
