Mrs. T.L. Scott was hostess for
the January meeting of Cromarty
Women's Missionary Society.
The. worship service for
Epiphany in the Glad Tidings was
followed, with Mrs. 'Mervin Dow
presiding and Mrs_ Malcolm
Lamond, Mrs. Calder McKaig,
and Mrs. John Jefferson
assisting.
• 'God Reveals His Presence,'
was sung followed by prayer. The
offering : was received and
dedicated in unison. The topic
was taken by Mrs: Charles
Douglas, "Four Words to Live
By", which gave a different light
on understanding your neigh-
bour.
The roll call, a hope for the New
Year, was answered by seven

at Christmas skating, broomball party

Park Arena on the
Friday evening following
Christmas at a skating party and
a game of broomball and served
refreshments to the families of
their two churches -Centralia and
Zion West. Everyone reports a
very enjoyable evening.
Communion was observed in
the United Church on Sunday and
Rev. Beaton announced that -the
annual meeting would be held on
Jan. 26 following' the morning
service.
There was a good attendance
on Monday when the Senior
Citizens met in the Community

low score , Mrs. Rose Atkinson,

was Mrs. Howard MacDonald.

Phi sorority met for their

The ways and means com-
mittee held a blind silent auction
in which the parcels auctioned
were wrapped.
Verla Russell was in charge of
the program entitled "Music with
no words." The topic was in-
teresting and members discussed
what music means to them and
how music without words affects
us. They also listened to some
music.
