EXETER - The South Huron
Recreation and Community. Centre
Board heard a request from Deb Ho -
mouth, a teacher from South Huron
District High School about possi-
bly staging. a community oriented
type play in the spring.
She told thc board the group,
which is extra curricular from the
school, needs the hall for about a
. week in May to stage a dinner thea-
tre w the hall. One day would be
used for setting. up, two days for
dress rehearsal and one day for tear-
ing down.
Homuth said she would like to
use the Kee hall because of its larg-
er- seating capacity than the .high
school gym and also the access to
the kitchen for the dinners, which
would be non-alcoholic.
Ali the conditions for using the
hall would be subject to :he board's
approval but the board recommended

posal there before getting back to
the rec board. -

dation from the facilities committee
that it give the go-ahead'for the Ex-
eter Mohawks senior hockey team

to use exclusively for themselves.
The facilities committee recom-
mended to the Rec Board that the
Mohawks room, a special building
'of approximately 52' by 16' which
is to be built attached t� the east -
side of the arena, under the follow-
ing.conditions..

hawks . •
2. building to be super •insu.lated
and hydro bc supplied by a separate
transformer
3. SHRt to pick. up all operating
costs of the building after it is com-
pleted

The offering was then received by
Valcric Laurie and Raymond Bcicr-
ling while the rest of the Sunday
School received the White Gifts.
This was all dedicated by Hcathcr
Bcicrling. Susan Kirton read the
Prayer of Intercession.
Rev. Sam Parker gave a short
inessage and Scott Kirton closed
with the Benediction.
Next Sunday -will be regular ser-•
vices and the first Sunday of Ad-

Don and Debra Rathwcll and fam-
ily ,just returned home . from a
week's holiday in Florida. They'
flew to Orlando and stayed at a
lodge in Kissimmee.
They visited the Sca World, the
Epcot Centre, one day at the Wefts:
Wild, two days at the Magic King-
dom. (Disney World) Friday No-
vember 18 was thc Celebration of
Mickey Mouse's 60th Birthday and
they saw thc huge parade. There
were over 4,000 children flown in
from all over the world to partici-
pate in this parade. Thc only chil-
dren from Canada there were from
Toronto.
Wilfred Chuter attended his sister
and brother-in-law, Ida and Elmer
McBride's 50th.Wcdding Anniver-
sary on Saturday in Exeter.

Heather Laurie, Kim Taylor and

other girls took part in a Guide Fly
Up and are now officially girl
guides. Congratulations girls!
