Patrick's church Sunday morning
was conducted by Rev. Beverly
Wheeler. Voyle Jordan read the les-
sons and Mary Davis accompanied
the hymns on the 'piano. Rev.
Wheeler took her text from the
Gospel according to Mark, on the
poor widow's penny she contribut-
ed, it was everything she had. How
many of us are so generous?

sored by Kirkton Anglican Church
Saturday anel the MacGillivray fam-
ily were dinner guests with their
parents Hugh and Hazel Davis Sat-
urday cvcning. Heather was observ-
ing her birthday and Sunday eve-
ning the MacGillivrays visited their
grandmother Mary Davis.
Mrs. Marguerite Greenlee and I
called on Joan Beaiene, Kelly and
Kristopher'Saturday morning.

Heather MacGillivray enjoyed an
outing of shopping and dinner Fri-
day in London. Both girls were ob-
serving their birthdays.

CENTRALIA - The November
U.C.W. meeting was held on
Thursday evening November 2 in
the United Church basement with
Gladys Buswell in charge of busi-
ness. Plans were made for Group 1
to look after lunch and Group 2 to
look after program for the Decem-
ber meeting.
June Esscry gave details on the
Exercise group to start November
14 for six sessions with one hour
each Monday.
Carol Sommerville, Adeline Elli-
ot and Etta Powe were in charge of
the Remembrance Program: Lois
Wilson was soloist. Mrs. Susan
MacGregor of Exeter gave an inter-
esting talk on their stay in' Ghana.
Lunch was served by Marian Dc -
line, Pat Gower and Lois Wilson.
The annual Hallowe'en party was
held Monday, October 31 at the
community centre sponsored by the
town trustees. Prize winners were
Jcrcmy and Jeffery Van Bergen,
Tina Gibson, Chris Glavin, Jesse
Hartford, Terry Morgan, Bohby-
Lynn Small, Ashley Parsons, Con-
nie Durward, Leanne and Jodi Cro-
nvn.
Prizes and refreshments wcrc do-
nated by the trustees. Pop was do-
nated by Tuckey Beverages. June
Borland, Jerry and Carol Mills did
the judging.
