Brydges twice by scores of 5-2 and 3-2. In Mt. Brydges the Bears scorcd early on a marker by Graham Ar- thur assisted by Greg Haggitt. Prentice Scott scored, with an assist by Shannon Hrudka to give the lo- cals a 2-1 first period lead. Jamie Bedard connected tntassisted in the second, before Mt. Brydges managed to beat goalie Ben Riley. In the third period Rob Varley connected with help from Grey Ko- bayski and Arthur scored again, but Mt. Brydges answered with a single tally. In Exeter on Saturday Riley turned in a strong performance as the Bears eked out a close 3-2 win. Mt. Brydgcs scored in the first minute of the game to take an early lead but Bedard tied the score min- utes later. Mt. Brydgcs again scored six to restore their lead but Prentice Scott connected on the power to knot the score. A second -period goal by Arthur turned out to be the winner, with assists going to Jamie McBride and Jason McCurdy. Lincoln Hawks beat Parkhill 7-1 EXETER - Exeter Lincoln Hawks travelled to Lucan October 29 and were defeated by a 6-2 score. Lucan scored early in the fust pe- riod with Exeter tying it on a goal by Pete Bison. Lucan also scored twice more in the fust period; Exeter tried to come back in the second with a goal by Floyd Riley, assisted by Mike Clay hut Lucan was just too much for the team. On Sunday Exeter hosted Parkhill and were victorious 7-1, due in part to the opposition gaining 31 min- utes in penalties, 19 minutes of which were in the third period. Peter Gibson led the Hawk's scor- ing with a hat trick with assists go- ing to Allan McFalls and Nick. Sza- bo. Tony Armstrong scored twice with assists by Allan McFalls. and Pete Gibson. After winning both the Huron - Perth and the western Ontario meet, the girls turned in a rather disap- pointing 10th -place finish. Racquel Thompson placed 131s( and Mi- chelle Chalmers finished 146th. South Huron's senior boys had the second best season in 20 years for the Panthers.
