For many Ontarions, the hunting
season represents an enioyablc pas-
Itlme in the great outdoors. Unfortu-
nately, hunting often results in
careless accidents that canbe easity
avoided as well as many trespassing
and illegal hunting complaints..
Please.remember firearms safety and
wear proper fluorescent clothing.
Familiarize yourself with local
hunting regulations and ask the land
owner's permission to hunt on
property. Hunters have the respon-
sibility to obtain permission `to
hunt on property they do not own
to satisfy the trespassing lav).
Crime prevention is everyone's
concern. If you witness an offence
occurring or observe someoneor
something suspicious write down
as many details as possible and call
your local police
