Letters Dear Ross: I was delighted to read the article on South Huron Big Brothers and Big Sisters (September 28, Yvonne Reynolds). Mike D'Anna and Bill McGregor are perfect examples of what the Big Brother and Big Sister program is all about. Many years ago I volunteered to be a Big Sister to a seven year old. 1 had great expectations of being a good friend and soul matt to her. Well, she enriched my life in so many more ways than I ever expect- ed to enrich hers. Shc has just cele- brated her twenty-third birthday and is still an important influence on my life. South Huron Big Brothers and Big Sisters is also blessed with very special members of your com- munity who have volunteered as Board of Directors. They arc a very caring and hard working group. Anyone considering volunteering as a Big Brother or Big Sister would be proud to be a member of this organization and would have the opportunity to make a lifetime friendship with a young person. Sincerely, Connie illman, St. Catharines.
