-held at St. Patrick's Church Sunday
with Rev. -Beverly Wheeler- in
charge. Her text was from the Gos-
pel of the day.
She stressed the need for change
in our church and daily living. Next
Sunday the fifth of the month ser-
vice will be at 8:30 a.m.
Mrs. Voyle Jordan entertained the
ladies of St. Patrick's for the Octo-
ber ACW on Tuesday evening for
the business meeting at 241 Butler
street in Lucan and she and Mary
Davis provided refreshments.
Nadine Bedell was chairperson in
the absence of Rose Cunningham.
The next meeting the ladies are in-
vited to the home of Hazel Eaton.
Voyle Jordan conducted a contest,
each answer ended with "ing". Na-
dine Bedell had the most correct an-
swers.

Mrs. Mabel Needham was Satur-
day dinner guest with her son Mr.
and Mrs. Ralph Needham and girls.
Mrs. Voyle Jordan visited hcr sis-
ter-in-law in Mt. Forest and they at-
tended the funeral of their cousin in
Owen Sound on the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Young and
boys, Lucan, were dinner guests
Sunday evening with their grand-
mother Mary Davis.

Wurm who has recently graduated
from Fanshawe College with a diplo-
ma in Business Administration. She
is currently furthering her education
at King's College, in Social Work as
well as co-ordinating the Huron
County Safe Homes for Youth pro-
gram. We couldn't be any prouder

mondville was in charge of the An-
niversary church service on Sunday
morning.
Rcv. Cheryl -Ann gave the chil-
drens message, and gave each child
a. candle, after going back to their
scats with their parents, the minis-
ter took hcr large candle and lit each
little candle, which was very im-
pressive.
The Scripture Lesson as read from
Luke 22:7-16. Mrs. Marianne
Smith of Egmondville sang two
very pleasing solos.
