Brian Eld- er and his family after nine and a half years of service. They are accepting a call to the Port Dover United Church. Brian, Mary, Robert, Phillip and Janet Elder farewell. The Elders are leaving for their new charge at -Port Dover on Monday, October 31. Speeches were given by Ross Pickering, Evelyn Pickering, Leila Finkbeiner,- Rev. Deborah Carter and Harry Schroeder. - The Elders were presented with a beautiful occasional chair. Brian and Mary have been here for 9 1/2 years, the longest any minister has stayed. Their friends_ at Zion are sure going to miss them and wish them all the best. Come back and visit us soon. • Social Club - Crediton and District- Social Club held their October meeting on Tuesday, October 11 and mem- bers' wives were invited.
