HENSALL - The shout of "Bin-
go" was heard often Monday after-
noon as we started off the, new
month • with our weekly bingo
_game. Thank you to the Hensall
United Church Women who helped
out.
On Tuesday morning we all got
re -acquainted as we "shook, rattled
and rolled" our muscles.and bones
at morning exercises.- We also gave
our minds a workout as we tried to
think of all the different crops that
would be•harvested this time of year
and of all the beautiful colors of the
season. Rev. Van Essen also had.
autumn on his mind. The theme
for his sermon was about Thanks-
giving.
We were ahead of ourselves a bit
and thinking of Christmas Thursday
afternoon as we sat together and
made gift 'ides'" for those special
gifts at Christmas time. Shirley
Temple joined us Thursday evening
when we watched one of her movies
"Rebecca of Sunnybrook". We will
be entertained by her movies -each
Thursday night for the month of
October.
It really makes us feel as if our
Ives are i 11 of rich blessings as we
step into our main entrance and see
the abundance of delicious fruitsand
vegetables. We thoroughly enjoyed
polishing and arranging the different
varieties of food as we thought
about Thanksgiving. Colorful
leaves were also falling all around
us as we decorate our home for Fall
and Halloween.
We're all. so excited as the count
down is on for our special evening
on Wednesday, October 12 when
the "Godcrich No Notes Jug Band"
will be here to entertain us. We'll
have to get our dancing shoes all
polished: and ready to dance .up a
storm. •
