Great weather
1LDERTON - Attendance for the
1988 llderton Fall Fair which was
held Saturday exceeded 10,000 visi-
tors thanks to ideal weather condi-
tions.
According to one Chir official Sat-
urday's crowd was "wall to wall".
At the Friday night show, Deanne
Smith was named 1988 Queen of
the Fair. She was crowned by last
year's winner Kathy MacNaughton
who -is now Miss CNE. Runnersup
in Friday's Queen competition were
Pam Guest and Lisa Little.
After a lengthy Saturday morning
parade, Kathy MacNaughton offi-
cially opened the fair with assis-
tance from fair president Glenn
Phillips, Homecraft division presi-
dent Joan Letich, MP Terry Clif-
ford, MPP Doug Reycraft and a'
