GRAND BEND - Soccer coach
Martin Vandenberk was extremely
pleased with the -way his peewee
soccer team played last week. In a
four-way race for a top spot, the
team defeated Exeter 1, with a 4-1
score. Jeff Lingard scored three
times,. with Cary Brooks adding a

single -goal. The peewees will play
two games this week to finish their
league schedule. Their tournament
will be on Saturday, September 17
. in Lucan.
In atom action last week, the
Grand Benders lost to Lucan 1. In
