KIRKTON - Despite a dry hot summer, the Kirkton Horticultural Society held another successful Fes- tival of Flowers on August 16 at the Kirkton-Woodham Community hall. There was 23 adults showing with 221 entries and nine juniors had 33 entries, three more than last year. President Marjorie Atthill welcomed a good crowd to the show.
