pa Borgal has retired from thc thea-
ter world for a short time as she and
husband, Chris arc expecting their
first child . in 'August. "Philippa's
dedication and outstanding work at
the Festival is immeasurable and
we will greatly -miss her", said
Katherine Kaszas.
"It's great to be back", said Ms.
Gardner, "and I'm looking forward
toseeing old friends again and get-
ting involved. in the community.
With.next year being the Blyth Fes~
tival's 15th anniversary and with
. the capital fund raising campaign
updcrway, we're planning all sorts
of things to celebrate the achieve-
ments of the Blyth *Festival and its
riot history." •

in the Gang which premiered at the -
Blyth Festival last season and later
appeared in Toronto at the Factory
Theatre.

Their musical,•Girls in the Gang
was -first workshopped at the Blyth
Festival in 1986 -and also appeared*
at thc National Arts Centre in Ot-
