ice storm ever experienced
when the Murrays arrived,
six inches of ice in places, but
it was crisp and sunny while '
they were there.

meeting of Varna U.C.W. The
ladies have been invited. to
hold their meeting at -the art
gallery of . Mrs. Leda
McAlister. north of Bayfield.,
Mrs. McAlister is a painter.
and grows and uses herbs, as
a hobby. Her home is partial-
ly solar heated. She will be
demonstrating the growing
and use of herbs. Meeting

calls were witnessed last
summer. Only because the
drivers were travelling;at or
below the speed limit was an
