featured the annual Exeter
figure skating carnival which
attracted close to 1.100 spec-
tators to the South Huron Rec
Centre, Saturday.
The more than 130
members of the club provid-
ed excellent and colourful
entertainment to the en-
thusiastic crowds at beth
afternoon and evening shows.
Theguest skater was
Shelley Smith \ of the -
Thamesford figure skating
club. She has her gold free
skate, sixth figure and junior
silver dances and novice com-
petitive test.

sion teams. They were the
Exeter Kutie Pie Kickers, a

Society, Karen Hudson gave
a talk on "Cancer in our
lives+'. This was very in-
teresting, but also brave on
Karen's part as she had lost
a sister to cancer in the last
