It's easy to tell that a
number of us will never
make good farmers. These
people have been on their
land for the better part of a
week and here the rest of us
are still waiting for someone
else to do our work for us.
Let's get at it before the
summer is over.
For those interested, the
men's slow -pitch schedules
are available. Please con-
tact your local team rep. for
your copy. This league has
supplied a lot • of entertain-
ment for the township since
its inception and hope to do
so for many years to come.
All games are played at the
Crediton Ball Field. Support
your local team. Your
friends and neighbors might
be on it.
On Sunday the 26th of this
month members of the club
will be in Clinton, along with
the 1961 Stephen Township
oratorical winners to com-
pete in the Optimist zone
finals. We are well
represented and hope that
the members who can attend
will do so. Scott Merrylees
and Julie Russel are soon to
become the next Ontario
Champs.
You always
win if you lose with a smile.
