Ken McLellan was the auctioneer, assisted by Nelson Bilyea and members of the Saddle Club. There was a large selec- tion of articles including knick-knacks, clothing household articles, saddle bridles and other horse a pony equipment. The bake sale was v successful with a la selection of homem• e cakes, cookies, pies, b - nies and other pastries. No. 4 Racing at Hully Gully House League Motocross returns to action this Satur- day, April 25 at Hully Gully for its third race season. This year will be started off with a HouseLeague Motocross School, which will get everyone warmed up for another exciting year. Saturday's event wills feature lessons in bike preparation and maintenance, basic riding techniques, physical con- ditioning and training, with instructions from expert riders who have graduated from the Hully Gully minor system. Bike and equipment would be beneficial, however, becauseb_this school is for Motocross beginners, it is not necessary. Registration will take place from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. and the school begins at 9:30. The school keeps in step with the aims of House League Motocross, which are: to provide safe, well organized MX competition, provide competition for various levels of rider age and ability; and type of bike; provide MX involvement without a large financial out- lay, ie: Basic equipment and f licencing and to promote the! sport of Motocross on a local' level.
