Hear from Laotians
Sunday night. March 1, 45
Laotian refugees met at Ex-
eter Pentecostal Tabernacle
to share in the evening ser-
vice. Pastor Keith Gonyou
preached a sermon entitled
"Lost or Found" and Rev.
Carl Young interpreted the
message into the Thai
language. Laotionas unders-
tand the Thai language and
are conversant in it.. Rev.
Young is a missionary on
Furlow from Thailand. He is
working with World Vision
of Canada.
Some of the Laotian
children performed their
national dance for the con-
gregation. This was very
enjoyable and informative.
The refugee families from
Goderich. Clinton. Vanastra
and Exeter. along with some
o[ their sponsors were in-
vited following the service to
share in coffee and lunch
before going home.
"As a Church". Paster
Gonyou reports. our families
from Laos have taught us
much about our responsibili-
ty as Christians to love our
fellow man. As a community
we are privileged and bless-
ed to be able to help those
less fortunate than we are.
