Deceased, who had lived on the 2nd concession of the township nearly all bis days, was one of the hest farmers in the district. He was scrupulously upright in all his dealings; in politics a Liberal, and es- teemed and respected by all who knew him. His bereaved relatives hate the heartfelt sympathy of the entire com- munity.
