Service of remembrance
Goshen United Church was beautifully deco-
rated for its final service of remembrance and
deconsecration on Sunday, September 29. This
church building has been in use and part of the
Varna Goshen pastoral charge since 1948.
Anna Keys plays the organ accompanied by
her granddaughter Erin Keys Melo on clarinet,
for the last time at Goshen United Church. Anna
was honoured at the service for her 67 years as
music director at the church.
Goshen United Sunday School children watch
as the balloons they launched outside during the
service fly away.
Linda Keys presents the Bible and communion
font to Gerald 1 layter and Jack Eckel as part of the
deconsecration of Goshen United Church.
