Rejoins Club
The Grand Bend Rotary Is very pleased
to welcome back Peter Challen to its

left with President Bruce Shaw). Peter
was a former member of Rotary but
other commitments forced him to step
down a number of year ago. Now Peter
has decided to rejoin the ranks of this
Club and Rotary welcomes him back.

Mad Science was a free event at the YMCA Youth Centre for the children during the
annual Aquafest celebrations in Grand Bend earlier this month.

A day at the fair
The smell of ribs and the sound of music filled Bayfield's agricultural park this past
Friday, August 16, kicking off the Bayfield Fall Fair with a new twist. The event was
so popular, vendors sold out of ribs not long after the contest was through.

Gems of nature

The Lambton Shores Nature Trails group celebrated Aquafest with local trail walks free
to the public. LSNT was founded in October 2011 by a group of local nature and hiking
enthusiasts. It is a volunteer organization dedicated to upgrade & maintain existing
Nature Trails and help build other community trails and connector trails in Lambton
Shores & Vicinity with a wide range of partners. Gems of Nature was the theme of
their August walk.
