After months of training, three teams of Ontario swimmers plunged Into Lake Huron
Friday for a full 24 hours. About 20 swimmers took up the challenge to swim relay -
style for a full day In open water to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society and
the London Health Sciences Foundation.
Reach for the Beach is the first event of It's kind, with participants swimming a relay
track just off the shore of Grand Bend through the day and night. The event has been
