filing an appeal; 'lhe OMB to hold a hearing
and issue an order affirming, amending or
repealing the by-law; and in order to come
into effect for the 2014 municipal election,
the Hoard order must be issued prior to Jan-
uary 1, 2014.
McKenzie said any changes to the bound-
aries needs to be in the "public interest" for
effective representation, and the terms of ref-
erence and guiding principles for the review
Lynda Hillman-Rapley
will need to be established and sufficient
time allotted for public consultation daring
the review.
She will ask at the May 1(ith meeting if a
discussion could be held on whether or not
the ward boundaries would be reconsidered
prior to the 2014 election, as the process
would need to be commenced in the very
near future in order to sleet the prescribed
deadlines.
