These students originally visited Community Living In early December. During their original visit they found true joy in spending time with these adults with developmental disabilities, and made so many meaningful friendships. At Christmas time, each student made a Christmas card and bracelet for at least one of their new friends. These adults made such an Impact on the grade 7 & 8's that we knew they had to return for a second visit. Grade 7/8 students spent the day being reunited with their Mends. They took part in art activities, jewelry making, board games, outdoor sports and games, and even spent time painting some of the clients nails. Students thoroughly enjoyed eating lunch with their friends and getting to know new friends through fun activities, lots of discussion, and some diversity awareness activities. This was a day that students will truly remember for the rest of their lives. They would like to thank the staff at Community Living, especially Bruce Shaw, for making both of these wonderful days such a huge success. Kineto Theatre Forest 41 G.I.
