Resources Subcommittee has organized its
fifth Inspiration Event to recognize our out-
standing healthcare professionals and car-
egivers. On Tuesday May 28, 2013 officials
from across both counties will gather with
candidates who have been nominated. The
event will be held at the Mitchell Commu-
ty Centre. The doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Nominations are being accepted now for
people who have shown accomplishments,
dedication and commitment to their profes-
sion. Nominations can be made in 3 catego-
ries that include Individual Awards, Team
Awards, and Organization Awards. Specific
awards include: Rookie of the Year, 'Team
Award, Life Time Achievement Award,
Growth and Fulfillment Award, Inspiration
Award, and many others! This event will
provide our communities the opportunity
to honour these individuals, teams, and
organizations who give so much. Nomina-
tion deadline is Wednesday April 17, 2013 at
12:00 noon.
We are accepting student applications
and short essays for two (2) $500
scholarships! The scholarships will be award
to one (1) Huron County and one (1) Perth
County resident who will be attending a
post -secondary institution in a healthcare
or healthcare related field in the Fall of 2012.

1lealthKick is pleased to be a sponsor
again this year for this wonderful event and
the planning committee welcomes sponsor-
ships from across Huron and Perth. Last
year we had over thirty people nominated
and they were all recognized for their con-
tribution to their profession.
Distinguished presenters and participa-
tion will be recognized from provincial and
municipal government, and healthcare offi-
cials. The time to honour our healthcare
workforce is every time we need them, this
is an event to show we need them all.
