McCANN, Larry John - (Dec 30, 1947 -
March 21, 2013) - With hoavy hearts. wo
announce the sudden passing of our much
loved husband and father, Larry John
McCann. on Thursday March 21, 2013 at
South Huron Hospital- Exeter after a brief,
but courageous battle with cancer. Larry
was born in 1947 in Stratford, Ontario
where he grew up before moving with his
young family to Cambridge and finally,
spending his last few years in Grand Bend,
near the beach and water ho so loved. He
was a genuine character, quick with a joke
and certainly blessed with the gift of
conversation. He made friends anywhere
and everywhere ho went. He was an avid
reader; devouring anything on history and
local geography. He loved boating, driving
his "shortcuts" through the countryside,
playing in his old-timer hockey league,
shooting pool with friends, walking his dogs.
and playing with his beloved grandchildren.
Ho loved to find now eateries and always
seemed to know where to find the bust chip
wagons. Ho will be deeply missed and
forever remembered by his wife and best
friend of 42 years, Noll; children, Andrea
(Ryan), Mark (Andrea), Kristy (Steve) and
Tara; grandchildren, Hannah, Miles, Emily,
Drow, Logan and Spencer. Larry is survived
by his brother Ron (Denise) and sistor
Arlene Knott (Art) as well as numerous
nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was
predeceased by granddaughter, Ava and
parents Forg McCann and Lil Spendift.
