Three on three road hockey planned for Nov. 5

The K of C of St. Boniface
council is planning to help the
youth group have a three -on -
three road hockey tournament
on Sat., Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m. on the parking lot at the
Bluewater community centre.
There will be two age groups
(kids in Grade 4 - 6 and those in
g7-9. Registration is $20. Call

Twenty people from the area
attended the Stratford and Dis-
trict "Right to Life" annual din-
ner on Oct. 22.
Sat., Oct. 22 was a great sunny
day for a group of gr. 7-8 junior
youth from the Zurich Mennon-
ite church to go around town
raking leaves for seniors, After-
wards they were treated to pizza
at the home of Dale and Carol
Cressman.

Eight ladies from the Men-
nonite Church group travelled
to the Breslau Mem. church on
Oct, 20 for dinner and evening
with the theme being "Celebrat-
ing Women" along with those
from other places.

annual Penny Sale on Sun., Nov.

Pennsylvania for four days from Oct. 18
to the 21. While there, they enjoyed
going to the "Apple !Antler" theatre and
to the "Sight and Sound" theatre which
had read animals in the play.'Ihe group
also Went on all Amish Farm tour.
Little Evan Maxine Regier was bap-
tized at St. Peter's Church at St. Joseph
recently by Fr. Graham Keep. Evan is
the son of Jason and Jennifer Regier.
Mike and Charlene Overholt have
moved into the former home of her
parents Victor i1artman at Parkside
subdivision from Edward St. in town.
