held a council meeting in
the library for parents on
Oct. 17 with chair Shelley
Miller. The group discussed
ideas for the end of the year
celebration before the school
closes. '%'hey also discussed
the transition to Blue -Water
coast Elementary School,
1 lensall or to South i luron in
Exeter.
Students from both
schools in town took part in
the cross country meet held
at the f3enMiller Conserva-
tion Area recently.
St. Boniface School partic-
ipated in the Iluron Perth
Catholic District coat drive.

families.
St. Peter's Lutheran
Church is having its 150th
anniversary homecoming
weekend 00 Sat., Oct. 29 at

October is another busy
month for the residents of
Blue Water Rest 1lorne. On
Monday, Wednesday and
Friday mornings, the nurs-
ery school children from the
London Bridge program at
the home, help to deliver the
mail to the residents. They
also enjoy saying nursery
rhymes with the children
and are planning to have a
costume parade and (Hal-
loween party.
Entertainment will be by
Peter on the piano, the
Goderich music group, the
Grand Bend Senior sand,
Home Made Jam and Gladys
and her Merry Makers. Bingo
games with assistance from
Community Living in Dash-
wood will be enjoyed. There
will be pumpkin carving and
baking. A ride in the bus to
see the fall colours was
enjoyed by some residents.
