Zurich Community
bible school a big
hit for area kids
Over 100 children of all
ages recently attended the
Zurich Community Vaca-
tion Bible School. The end -
of -the -week programs were
well attended by parents,
friends and family mem-
bers. St, Peter's CWI. St.
Joseph is saving milk hags
to make mats. Also, pop can
tabs are being collected for
the St. Boniface Building
Fund. 'fabs or cairns may be
left at the home of Alike
Miller, Doug Debus or John
Jacobs.
Week three of the Blue -
water playground was held
from July 25 to 29. 'ihe week
started with a camping day
and was followed by magi-
cal mystery day and holiday
fun day. They will be going
to the Bluewater Fun Park
in Sarnia lbws., July 20, Fri-
day is their wet and wild
day.
'ihe play telling of remark-
able story of "Narcisse (:an -
tin" and the founding of St.
Joseph was performed well.
The stage and outdoor set-
ting, all the cast, costumes,
music and singing was
excellent. It is something
that you have to see to
believe. Tickets can still be
purchased for $20 for adults
laid $12 for children 16 and
under by calling 1-077-062-
5984. The play runs until
Sat., July 30. You don't want
to miss it.

is August 2 at the Blue Water

with a musical program for
the residents at 6:30 p.m.

and money for the Bean
Festival draw.
A co-ed golf tournament
is scheduled to take place at
the Bayview Golf Course
September 1 1. Registration
begins at 11:30 a.m, with a
shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.
This tournament is a scram-
bler format with a barbeque.
Fellowship and silent auc-
tion will follow at 5 p.m.
This event is sponsored by
the St. Boniface and St.
