'Dance' to benefit Victim Services
For the Lakeshore Advance
Victim Services of Huron County
is once again gearing up for its
third -annual fundraiser, Dancing
With the Stars.
This successful fundraiser, which
sold out two years in a row, is being
fonsored by Scotiabank and will
e place on Saturday Sept. 24, at
the Knights of Columbus Hall in
Goderich.
This year, tickets will be released for
sale on July 7, from 6-8 p.m., and on
July 8, from 9-11 a.m. at Zehrs in
Goderich. Tickets are priced at $60
with $30 eligible for an income-tax
receipt. This price includes a Silent
Auction charitably supported by our
generous community, a full course
dinner catered again by Wamby Cater-
ing, along with a spectacular viewing
of our own county's talent in an
evening of Dancing With the Stars.
This year, our dancers include:
First year champion, and profes-
sional Reanna Ramaker who is part-
nered with Wingham Police officer
Tim Poole. Patty Wegg (profes-
sional) will dance with Goderich's
firefighter Brian (Bummer) White.
Patty's partner and champion from
last year's event, Steve Hewitt will
grace the stage as one of the event's
three judges. Returning professional
dancer Wendy Hoernig is paired
with business owner Brian Petrie of

vated Huron Country

corporate America in
this Tony Award-winning
musical about an opti-
mistic young man who is
determined to get the
corner office at any cost.

of a book entitled, How
to Succeed in Business, a
crafty young window -
washer, J. Pierrepont
Finch, begins a meteoric
rise from the mail -room
to vice-president of
advertising at the World -
Wide Wicket Company.
However, Finch's unor-
thodox and morally
questionable business
practices jeopardize not
only his career, but also
his office romance with a
sweet secretary named
Rosemary Pilkington.

Broadway musicals and last season
helmed the Drayton Entertainment
production of Guys and Dolls, which
received rave reviews during its four-
week run at the Drayton Festival Thea-
tre. Guys and Dolls returns this season
and will play later this summer at the
Huron Country Playhouse.
