Celebrating 40 years, this summer theatre, an arm of Drayton Entertainment has a sure hit on their hands. The second the curtain rises you are taken away to Baltimore 1962. You have big hair and huge racistn and no political correctness. And then along comes Tracy Turnblad. Stephanie Pitsiladis, the seasoned talent playing Tracy is the real thing. She can sing, she can dance, and she believable. She is the person we all want to be. Tracy loved the Corny Collins dance show and when opportunity knocked, she ran for the chance to be on the show. Told she was too fat, too stupid to audition she said too bad. "Dont let your weight become your fate" she was told. Tracy is the girl who "has breakfast and then changes the world," The company, many debuting Huron Country Playhouse took this book by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan to great heights.
