Monday, Lori Burt, Registered Massage'lhera-
pist was in throughout the day providing thera-
peutic massage. Several Residents gathered in the
Sunroom at 10 a.m. for their exercise workout with
Ashley and following exercises, games & a sing
song took place. The llensall U.C.W. provided
assistance & prizes for Bingo in the aftemoon.
Residents attending the Breakfast group pro-
gram headed to the Cafe Tuesday morning to feast
on eggs made to order, bacon, toast, fruit, coffee &
tea. It was fun for everyone to linger over their cof-
fee while visiting with others they don't usually
dine with. Pastor Bob l Ieywood lead Worship at
11 a.m. Residents thoroughly enjoyed his mes-
sage, much of it in song while accompanying him-
self on the accordion. Those in attendance
expressed their pleasure at hearing so many of the
older hyrnns so familiar to them. Sensory
Stnoothie proguam with Jocelyn took place in the
afternoon. Pastoral Care Volunteer: Rev. Marybeth
Wilson visited several Residents, providing Pasto-
ral Care.
Wednesday afternoon Scrapbooking Program
had Residents focused & choosing their favourite
pictures as they worked on a page for their Book
and also on a theme for their new Picture frame.
'Throughout the day one to one programs with
sensory, puzzles, reading & manicures were
offered.
Thursday morning's muffin fundraiser sent the
delirious scent of freshly baked Banana chocolate
Chip muffins wafting through the hallways draw-
ing customers from among staff, visitors, & resi-
dents eager to enjoy a muffin & coffee while sup-
porting Resident council. Hensall Public School
students visited in the aftemoon for their intergen-
erational program with Residents who benefited
from getting some outside time to bask in the sun-
shine which has been in such short supply lately.
Mariette's Belgium Waffle program was the
highlight of Friday when Marlette Bilcke & Frands
Kinsman produced & served tasty Belgium waf-
fles topped with whipped cream and fresh straw-
berries to Residents gathered in the Cafe. The
sounds of visiting & laughter coming from the Cafe
was heartwarming.
Men's Horse Race games & pub event wit'
Jocelyn was enjoyed Saturday afternoon.
