Industrial Accidents.
The toll of death from industrial ac-
cidents throughout Canada during the
year 1912, as shown in a report just
published, cost the lives of no less than
1,220 workmen, while 5,780 received ser-
ious injuries. Thus 7,000 workers in
Canada's industrial army met with fatal
or serious accidents while in the dis-
charge of their duty during the twelve
months.
