A number of Lucknow residents
and family on the passing of George last attended the CG1T candle lighting
week.
Sympathy is also extended to family of
Donald Thompson who passed last week also.
A capacity crowd attended the annual Carolfest at St.
Joseph's Church in Kingsbridge. The local area church-
es joined together for a wonderful evening of singing.
Last Thursday several of the Lucknow Sepoy Ranges
were out carolling and visiting at Pinecrest Manor, River
Valley Apartments and Ostbek Manor. The evening was
finished with coffee at Finlayson's.
The annual Christmas play put on by the HAWK the,
atre was well attended this weekend.
The arena was a busy spot this weekend as the
Lucknow Juvenile Silver Stick tournament was held.
Opening ceremonies were held at Nine Mile Villa on
Sunday with a capacity crowd.. touring the building.

The Sunday school children from St. Peter's Anglican
Church, as well as a few `older' children, attended the
St. -Nicholas Eve service at St. Paul's Trinity in
Wingham. This was a shared service for all four church-
es in the Parish of New Beginnings. .
Drop in shoot winners • for Dec. 1 were Elaine
Errington; Nancy Radke, Ross Errington and Shirley
Bolt. Most shoots were Mary McIntosh and Gerald
Wagner. Lucky draw winners were Caroline Menary
and Bnice Raynard.

Through the LOPS Me To We. dub Grade 7 and 8 students are
getting more involved in their community. That's why they visit-
ed River Valley Apartments and spent some time with the resi-
dents, just talking and sharing. Grade 8 student Evan Mitchell and
Gertie Henderson had a chance to have a pleasant conversation
together on Nov. Nov. 26.

heifers sold on a steady mar-
ket. Choice steers and heifers

90.00. Second cut sold 76.00
79.00. Cows sold on a fully
steady market.
On Thursday,veal sold on a
very strong active trade with
prices $2 - $5 higher. Lambs
sold steady to last week while
light lambs sold higher. Sheep
and goats sold on steady.
On Friday, calves and year-
lings sold on a good strong
active trade.
There were 288 steers on
offer.
There were 111 heifers on
offer.
There were 447 cows on
