Bette MacLeod was happy to
meet with her dear friend
Evelyn Smith, of Vineland
recently. Evelyn's daughter
Alaire Ballint of Smithville
took her to the Kings Cafe in
Stoney Creek. Freda Owen -
friend of Alaire's and Bette's -
of London, picked Bette up and
went there also. While they
were there, Judy Hawrylshyn
(fonnerly of the. 6th
Concession) arranged to meet
with them. So they had a won-
derful reunion and the food was
endless.
Last Saturday night was the
Awards Banquet for the Bruce
County Plowmen at Tara. Chair
of the Plowing Association is
Tom Evans and Secretary . is
John Gillespie.
On Friday evening, the
Bruce County Federation host-
ed their Annual Meeting, and
Dinner at the Elmwood
Community Centre.' Volunteer
of the Year Award was present-
ed to Gerry Poechman for his
extensive involvement with
OFA, CFF and NFU. Gerry

quiet Halloween in our neigh-
bourhood, just lot of wind
blowing around.
