ROBERTSON
James Donald "Don"
Robertson of
Lucknow, died
Sunday, September
20th, 2009 at
Pinecrest Manor, at
the age of 87. He was
the beloved husband
of the late Gladys
"Tiny" (MacDonald)
Robertson. He was
born in Huron
Township, on February
12, 1922 to the late
James Robertson and M. Elizabeth (Campbell).
Don was a farmer, near Purple Grove, and a
fiddler • his whole life, and was a devoted care-
giver to many. He will be sadly missed by sev-
eral generations of nieces and nephews, and
his sister -in -taw Fem MacDonald of Ripley. Don
is predeceased by his siblings: Margaret
Robertson, Martha Houston, Calvin
Robertson, Dorothy Collins, Kenneth
Robertson, and infant sister Rosella Robertson.
Visitation was held at MacKenzie & McCreath
Funeral Homes, Lucknow on Wednesday,
Septerpber 23, and on Thursday, September
24 fe`One hour prior to the Funeral Service.
Rev. P. Kinsman officiated with Mary Lou
Raynard as organist, and Richard and Laurine
Madge as vocalists. ` Interment followed at
Ripley Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Harold
Nicholson, Don Reid, Paul Murray, Gayle
Haldenby, Randy Collins, and David Collins.
Honorary Pallbearers included: Don ,Bushell,
Stewart Lane, Murray Ribey, and George
Harris. Donations to the Lucknow Presbyterian
Church, or the Purple Grove Community
Centre were appreciated as expressions of
