Lucknow women excel in Goderich Triathlon on Aug. 16
The Goderich
Triathlon took place
Sunday, Aug. 16
and the event con-
sisted of a one km
swim, a 42.5 km
bike ride and 10 km

Cathy Staehli
competed in the
solo event and took
first place in her
division.
Julie -Ann Staehli,
Marilyn Scott and
Joanne Mayer com-
peted in the relay,
with Marilyn swim-
ming, Joanne biking
and Julie -Ann run-
ning 10 km. The
event was very chal-
lenging due to the
hot conditions and
windy day.
• These four ladies
are looking to
organize a "Learn to
Run" program on
Mondays., It will be
a non-competitive
progressive ' and
low-key program.
The start date will
be Sept, 14. There
will be a morning
group that will meet
at 9 a.m. at the
Lucknow Soccer
Fields and an
evening group that
will meet ,at 6 p.m.
at LCPS. All are
welcome join.
