Bobby
Raymond, of
Lucknow, is taking
the next step in his
hockey career as
he looks to Europe
to play profession-
al hockey in
France. It's a big

realizes ' it will , be
something he'll
have to adjust to,
but he'll be going
with RIT teammate
Brennan
Sarazin,
who was
also a
fellow

knows
his love for
the game will
push him over any
obstacle he faces.
Raymond, who
just graduated
from the Rochester
Instituteof
Technology (Rif)
with a Bachelor's
degree in Industrial
and System's
Engineering, never
missed a game in
four years of play-
ing with his
NCAA Division

team.

Raymond will
be going to play
for the "Etoile

somebody

does, . will

Raymond.

Raymond
knew he want-

after RIT
and he believed
Europe was the
best way to pursue
his:.dream, which is,
why' he made some
sample videos for
team's like Black
Star in order to get
them interested in
him. Black Star
must have liked
what they saw
because Raymond
will • begin playing
there on Aug. 11.
"My last year at
RIT I made a high-
light video of
myself and put it
on Youtube and
then I got in touch
with a couple of
agents who
approached teams
for me," said
Raymond.
France was also
a big draw because
the Black Star
were interested
in Raymond and
Sarazin and
that just made
it impossible
for Raymond
to :pass up the
opportunity.
"Being that they
made an offer for
both Brennan and I
was a big ditty/ for
#surto be able to -,go
with somebody i'
•know,'• said
Raymond
"Especially
Brennan. I don't
think there's any-
one. else I'd rather
have on my team."
Raymond wants
to tiring his own
style of play to
France as he wants
to take advantage
of the large ice sur-
face . and use a lot

will definitely ben-
