Drugs seined in HK
On April 21 members of the
Ontario Provincial Police
Organized Crime Enforcement
Bureau - Drug Enforcement
Section, South Bruce Crime and
the South Bruce 'Detachment
executed a Controlled Drugs and
Substances Act Search Warrant
• in the Municipality of Huron -
Kinloss.
Police discovered dried
cannabis marijuana, and
cannabis marijuana plants grow-
ing in the residence, with an esti-
•
mated street value of $82,000.
Also seized was $1000 worth of
growing equipment.
The occupier of the residence
was not present during the exe-
cution of the warrant. The next
day a 23 -year-old male, of
Kinloss Township, was arrested
for production of Cannabiti
Marijuana and Possession for
the Purpose of Trafficking
Cannabis Marijuana.
Poice are continuing to inves-
tigate and charges are pending.

Saturday,April 18, the Dungannon Lions Club_spearrheaded a village deanup.The park,
Seniors Center, Church and Manse were done. Some locals unable to do their yard
work called for help. They cleaned out flowerbeds and ditches and with the help of a
Smyth sweeper took the gravel off the roadsides. Many villagers and them children also
came out to help.This is an annual event that the Lions Club does for the community.
