Lucknow Legion Senior's' dining pro- gram celebrated its 13th anniversary on Wednesday with all volunteers being acknowledged. Where would we be with- out our volunteers. Choice steers and heifers sold 98.00 -- 101.00. with sales to 106.25. Second cut sold 95.00 - 98.00. Cows sold $3 - $5 higher. On Thursday, bed' veal sold steady. Holstein veal sold $2 - $4 lower. Lambs and sheep sold steady. Goats sold on a strong active trade. On Friday, . calves sold on a good strong active Meade. There were 177 steers on offer. There -were 262 heifers on offer. There were 207 cows on offer. Export type 'sold 55.00'- 68.00 with sales to 78.00; Beef cows sold 50.00 - 60.00 with sales to 64.50; Di & D2, 45.00 -- 50.00; 50.00; D3, 35.00 - 45.00; D4,25.00-35.00. Then were 18. bulls on offer selling 66.00 - 73.50 with sales to 84.50. There were 201 head of veal on offer. Beef sold 100.00 - .115.00 with sales to 127.00; good. Holstein, 75.00 - 80.00 with sales to 89.00; medium Holstein, 60.00 70.00; plain Holstein, 60.00 70.00; good heavy Holstein, 70.00-000.
