Entitled the

Bylaw, the motion
will outline the
necessary condi-
tions that a proper-
tyrowner must
maintain to not be
fined.
The original
proposition
includes a static

ATV users
After hearing
from the Ontario
Provincial Police's
Dana Steckle,
ACW Council
decided to retain a
bylaw that allows
ATV users to use
municipal roads.
In a previous
meeting, council
received corre-
spondence from
Wendy Hoernig.
Hoernig claimed
that damage was
being done to local
trails thanks to
ATV usage, and
that the operators
of the machines
were able to get to
the trails thanks to
the bylaw.
Statistics pre-
sented by Steckle
indicated that ATV
usage is not a
major cause of
problems in ACW.
Most complaints
are assoicated with
the beach.
Steckle also said
that there will be a
specific officer,
Patrick Armstrong,
to take care of
ATV -related inci-
dents and reports.
